From the Administrator:
Just announced by Moose International there is no enrollment fee from January 1st through April 30th for the LOOM and the WOTM applications for new or re-enrolled members. The Princeton lodge is making an effort to attain its membership quota by picking up $10 of the dues fee, also our magic number for our quota is 33 new or former member applications before April 30th. Here is the bottom line, ask, a friend, neighbor, relative, or work associate to join the Moose for just $50. Our membership would like to welcome the following new members and thank their sponsors. Eric Olds sponsored by Paul Loiselle; Andy Puch sponsored by Duane Rich; Evan Bopes sponsored by Patrick Lilley; Richard Genslinger sponsored by Rollie Fisher; Dean Perino sponsored by Galen Hooper; and Brian Utsch and Mike Lincoln sponsored by Robert Badalowski of the Downers Grove lodge. Using Robert as an example you may sponsor members in a lodge other than your home lodge, in doing so Robert, Patrick, Galen, and Rollie, each of them have sponsored two members and receives a year’s free dues from Moose International. Watch the calendar for those new upcoming activities and remember the ones we have had scheduled each week. Our weekly Euchre night is open to all members, women and men, and their guests, just sign them into the guest register. Remember the third time a guest enters the lodge, should be for an orientation for new members. In our last newsletter I provided a breakdown of monthly expenses which should provide the membership of the lodge a need for their participation in our weekly activities. We have not raised our food prices in nearly three years and have been absorbing the increases from our vendors to hold down our prices to you. Let me give an example of why this can no longer be achieved without changing some prices to our menu. The cod we purchase for our Friday night dinners is one of the best in quality items we offer. The price increase for this product has risen 40% in the past eighteen months, without a price increase. Please understand that updating our prices to reflect cost increases will be necessary in the coming weeks to keep the lodge financially solvent.
